Upcoming Players Championship 9 and 10 Tournaments Announced by the PDC

The Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) has announced the full list of participants for the upcoming Players Championship 9 and 10 tournaments. These two pro tour events will be held on May 6 and 7 at the German venue in Hildesheim.

Each Players Championship event will feature a field of 128 players. Initially, all 128 PDC Tour Card holders will have the opportunity to register. If any spots remain, the highest-ranked players from the Challenge Tour Order of Merit will be invited to compete.

The impressive roster of participants includes top darts stars such as Gary Anderson, Michael van Gerwen, Jonny Clayton, Gerwyn Price, Michael Smith, James Wade, and Peter Wright. However, some world-class players like Nathan Aspinall, Rob Cross, Luke Humphries, Luke Littler, and Ryan Searle have not signed up for these events.

Notably, the upcoming tournaments will see the debut of Noa-Lynn van Leuven, who makes history as the first transgender player to compete on the PDC Pro Tour. Van Leuven has enjoyed great success on the Challenge Tour and Women’s Series, and now earns her opportunity to showcase her talents on the pro stage.
